FAQs -STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, just give us a call at 060-585-8769 or click on the button below to send us an email message.

  1. DO YOU GIVE FREE ESTIMATES FOR TREE WORK?

Yes, we offer a complimentary consultation. All our quotes are provided free of charge. Phone us anytime on 060 585 8769 to arrange a quote for your tree needs.

  2. CAN YOU GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR PRUNING OR TREE REMOVAL OVER THE PHONE?

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide an estimate over the phone. Pricing is not only determined by the type of tree but also the location, surrounding areas, ease of access, growth patterns, stability and structure, as well as other factors such as driveway, road, house and wire locations.

  3. DO YOU OFFER WINTER DISCOUNTS?

Yes, we are typically able to offer better pricing during the winter months. The lack of leaves, as well as the frozen ground, can lead to jobs taking less time than at other times of the year – and we pass those savings on to you!

  4. DO YOU OFFER A DISCOUNT FOR PAYMENT IN CASH, SENIOR CITIZENS, OR VETERANS?

    tree removal pretoria team

Yes, we do. Please give us a call at 060-585-8769 for details about the discounts we offer.

  5. DO YOU WORK IN THE WINTER/RAIN?

We work year-round through all types of weather conditions. However, we may shift our schedule during particularly harsh weather, not only for the safety of our crew, but also for the health of your trees and landscape.
For safety reasons, we are unable to work during lightning and/or strong winds. Winter storms may also delay work.

  6. DOES SOMEONE NEED TO BE HOME WHEN THE WORK IS DONE?

No. We often do work when people are not home. We typically will mark the trees so that it is clear what work should be done. We’re often told that people know we were there because it’s cleaner than they left it.

  7. HOW LONG WILL THE JOB TAKE?

The length of time required to properly and safely complete tree work will vary based on a lot of factors. Until we see the tree(s) and the job site, we can’t give you a realistic estimate for that. We will definitely discuss timing with you during and/or after an estimate is completed.

  8. DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

We are fully insured with liability insurance that specifically covers tree work. We’re happy to provide proof of coverage upon request.

  9. IS IT CHEAPER TO HAVE YOU LEAVE WOOD OR TAKE IT AWAY?

Disposing of wood at the dumpsite takes time. This is largely due to the type of garden waste local dump sites take. If the local dumpsite doesn’t allow large wood then it will take time to go to the large dump in Mamelodi.
If you are willing to have us leave the wood left over after work is completed, we’re able to offer you a better price for the work.

  10. IS THERE A COST FOR CUTTING WOOD INTO SMALLER LENGTHS (E.G., FOR FIREWOOD)?

    STUMP GRINDING

If we are leaving the wood on your property, we typically leave it in 15 to 20 cm lengths. This is the normal length of wood that’s cut as part of a tree removal job.
Unfortunately, we do have to charge extra for anything smaller due to extra time, labor, gas and equipment use.
